This Benro A48FDS6 Series 4 Aluminum Monopod includes the 3-Leg Locking Base and S6 Video Head to give you a versatile still or video camera support system. Able to hold up to 13.2 lb and extend to 69.1″, the removable base provides three solid points of contact with the ground, and acts like a mini tripod. A ball joint on the base allows you to smoothly pan and tilt your camera, and it can be locked so that you can pan with the head independently.
The base can be replaced with the included rubber foot for standard monopod use. The four leg sections are secured by flip locks, and it folds down to 26.6″ for transport in the included carrying case. The S6 is a compact video head with 360° rotation, a posi-step counterbalance system, and variable tilt drag control. There are separate pan and tilt lock levers, and a sliding quick release plate helps to balance the camera.
Weighing just 2.6 lb, the Benro S6 Video Head is a compact video head capable of supporting cameras weighing up to 13.2 lb. The posi-step counterbalance system has four settings of 0.0, 4.4, 9.9 and 13.2 lb. The S6 has 360° panning rotation and variable tilt drag for smooth camera moves. There are separate pan and tilt lock levers for locked-off shots.
The sliding quick release (QR) plate helps balance the camera, and the head comes with a safety lock for the QR plate. The S6 video head accepts 501PL compatible QR plates, making it easy to find spares or replacements.
The illuminated bubble level, with included CCR1220 battery, helps level the S6 in the dark. The adjustable pan handle can be mounted on either side of the S6 head using the built-in mounting rosettes. The S6 can be mounted onto ball adapters, tripods, and other camera supports via the 3/8″-16 threaded female receiver on the magnesium alloy flat base.
